To celebrate this addition, WinterFest announces celebrity beading artist Paulette Baron as its featured beading artist. Paulette Baron has been beading since 1994. In addition to teaching around her home base, Paulette has also teaches at the Bead and Button Show, Bead Expo, and at Bead Fest.

“We are overwhelmed and humbled that Paulette Baron is celebrating with us by bringing her talent and creativity to the show” explains Debra Wiggins, Chairperson of Locust Quilt and Craft. “Paulette’s freeform sculptural work and talent is breathtaking”

Paulette’s work is featured in Diane Fitzgerald’s book, “Beading with the Brick Stitch.” Her Pinwheel Garden necklace won 2nd place in the 2005 Bead Dreams exhibit and appeared in the 2006-2007 Dairy Barn International Bead traveling exhibit. This necklace will also appear on the title page of Margie Deeb’s new book, “The Beader’s Color Palette: 20 Creative Projects and 220 Inspired Combinations for Beaded and Gemstone Jewelry” to be published in the summer of 2008.

WinterFest Quilt & Craft Show will prove to be a very fun and exciting event for all who love beads and jewelry. You can expect to find at the show a countless beads, jewelry findings, books, and much more. If anyone wants to become a part of beading or at least give it a try WinterFest offers classes in at all levels of bead and wire wrapping.
